Some History of My Health Journey

The first picture below is from early September 2017 when my wife and I made a commitment to improve our health.  The second picture is from late November 2017, when I was finally at my desired weight.  Several years ago, a few of my co-workers and I started a weight loss competition that proved to be quite successful for me.  The success I enjoyed back then was primarily due to exercising regularly and eating more healthy.

Over the next several years, my exercise declined, and I fell back into less healthy eating habits.  So, as time passed by, I went back to my previous weight.  To lose the weight this time, I took a different approach.  I reached out to some friends who are health coaches, and they helped me come up with a plan to not only lose the weight, but to also commit to living a healthy lifestyle for the rest of my life.  I’m so happy that I’ve made this transition.  I feel much better, and I look forward to sports and outdoor activities that have been much more difficult at a heavier weight.
